INSIDIOUS

Insidious is a horror film directed by James Wan and written by Leigh Whamell.
The starring actors: Rose Byrne, Patrick Wilson, Ty Simpkins, Barbara Hershey, Andrew Astor, Lin Shaye, among other.
Josh, Renai and his tree children moved into a house. One child fell into a coma. Renai is afraid. After investigated, they discovered that the father is pursued by a devil. Finally, due to the devil and have a quiet live.
In my opinion, this is a terrorific film that impacts.
I recommend this film for people over 16 years.

FIRDAY THE 13TH

Firday the 13th is a horror film directed by Marcus Nispel and written by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift. This film is a remake this story.
The starring actors: Jared Padalecki, Danielle Panabaker, Amanda Righetti, Aaron Yoo, Travis Van Winkle, Derek Mears, among other.
Clay wanted his sister in the forest and is helped with a group of young who were on a holiday weekend, but didn't know, that they were in the forest where murderernlives, Jason Voorhess. Finally, Jason kills them all.
In my opinion,this is a bad film because is commercial.
I recommend this film for people over 18 years.

TRANSSIBERIAN

Transsiberian is a thriller film directed by Brad Anderson and written by the same Anderson and Will Conroy.
The starring actors: Woody Harrelson, Kate Mara, Emily Mortimer, Ben Kingsley, Eduardo Noriega and Thomas Kretschmann.
Roy and Jessie travel to Moscou with the Transsiberian train. On this train they met Carlos and Abby who made trip complicated: ther changed the bags with others that contained drug. This action, they have problems with the mafia. Finally, Roy and Jessie escaped.
In my opinion, this film raises the plot in a quiet manner but complicated.
I recommend this film for everybody.

SHUTTER ISLAND

Shutter island is a psychological film directed by Martin Scorsese and is based on the novel of the same name.
The starring actors: Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kinsley, Max Von Sydow, Michelle Williams, Emily Mortimer, Patricia Clarkson, among toher.
The agents Teddy Daniels and Chuck Aule are sent to an isalnd where a psychiastrist patient has escaped. Strange things happened on the island.
Finally, everything was a set up to demostrate that Tedy was crazy.
In my opinion, this film is a surpirising because of the plot.
I recommend this film for everybody.

DISTRICT 9

District 9 is a science fiction film directed by Neill Blomkamp and written by the same Blomkamp and Terri Tatchell.
The starring actors: Sharlto Copley, Jason Cope, Eugene Khumbanyiwa, David James, William Allen Young, Louis Minnaar, among other.
Aliens had arrived in Johannesburg and they were looked in concetration camps. The humanity expected the aliens to make some technological advances but they failed. Aliens, finally, returned to their planet.
In my opinion, this film is entertaining and I recommend it for everybody.

THE RITE

The rite is a supernatural horror film directed by Mikael Hafstrum and written by Michael Petroni. It is based on the novel The rite: the making of a modern exorcist.
The starring actors: Anthony Hopkins, Colin O'Donoghue, Alice Braga and Rutge Hauer.
Michael Kovak is a priest who traveled to Roma to study exrocism and views live exorcisms together with Father Lucas, his mentor.
Finally, the Father Lucas is possessed with the devil but Michael saves him.
In my opinion, Anthony Hopkins and Colin O'Donoghue have a great rol.
I recommend this film to people who likes this type the films.

TAXI DRIVER

Taxi driver is a psichological film directed by Martin Scorsese and written by Paul Schader.
the starring actors: Robert De Niro, Jodie Foster, Albert Brooks, Harvery Keitel, Leonard Harris, Peter Boyle and Cybill Shepherd.
Travis is a ex-combatant of war of Vietnam who lives in New York. He has slump and tries to conquer a woman that doesn't acept him. Travis planned on killing the president and work as host of taxi to make money. But he meets a girl who works as a prostitute and the weft leaves him. Finally, Travis turns out to be a good person.
In my opinion is a slow film bot I recommend for everybody because it turns out to be good.

THE SIXTH SENSE

The sixth sense is a suspense film written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan.
The starring actors: Bruce Willis, Haley Joel Osment, Toni Collette, Olivia Williams, Donnie Wahlberg, among other.
Cole Sear can see dead people he meets Malcolm Crowe, psychiatrist for children, that helps him: Kyra ia a girl ghost who is ill and pursues Cole. Finally, Cole helps Crowe that is dead and didn't know about it.
In my opinion  is a beautiful film because the story touches you: the boy appreciated the ghost of Crowe.
I recommend this film for everybody.

PLANET TERROR

Planet terror is an action film directed and written by Robert Rodriguez.
The starring actors: Rose McGowan, Freddy Rodriguez, Josh Brolin, Marley Shelton, Jeff Fahey, Michael Biehn, Bruce Willis, Naveen Andrews, Fergie, Nicky Katt, Quentin Tarantino, Electra and Elise Avellan.
A group of people must survive to a zombie attack. This group includes a go-go dancer it will be a key weapon for survive.
This is a sadist and comic film that I like.
I don't recommend this film for everybody because is sadist and stong.

THE SHINING

The shining is a horror film directed by Stanley Kubrick. It is based on the novel of the same name written by Stephen King.
The starring actors: Jack Nicholson, Shelley Duvall, Danny Lloyd, Scatman Crothers, Barry Nelson, Phillip Stone, Joe Turkel, Anne Jakson and Tony Burton.
Jack Torrance works wantaining a hotel and can lead his family. His son can see premonitions and the hotel doesn't give him not a good impression. Jack was advised that before a man had killed his family because the hotel is built over an Indian burial ground. Jack comes to cabin fever and want kill his family, but fail to stop because scapes and Jack frozen dies.
In my opinion, this is a psychological film that I like.
I don't recommend this film for everybody because is very impressive.

THE CHORUS

The Chorus is a French drama film directed by Christophe Barratier and written by Philippe Lopes-Curval and  Barratier.
The starring actors: Gerard Jugnaot, François Berteand, Kad Merad, Jean-Baptiste Maunier, Jakes and Maxence Perrin.
Pierre Morhange is visited by Pepinot who delivers the diary of his teacher: Clement Mathieu. They remember those days and the boaring school that they went to. Clement Mathieu changes the life of his students until he is expelled. The students always remember this teacher.
In my opinion, this is a film is a one of the best because it touches you.
I recommend to see this film one time. it can be seen by everybody.

AVATAR

Avatar is a science fiction film directed and written by James Cameron.
The starring actors: Sam Wothington, Zoe Saldana, Signourney Weaver, Stephen Lang and Michelle Rodrigez.
Pandora is the world where the tribe of Navi lives, they believe in nature. When the humans arrived the Navi accepted them but the humans then wanted to conquer Pandora. Jake Sully with the aid of her new friends, saves Pandora together with Navi.
In my opinion, it is a great film because it has great special effects and a good story.
I recommend this film for everybody.

DEAD POETS SOCIETY

Dead poets society is a tragedy film directed by Peter Weir and writter by Tom Sculman.
The starring actors: Robin Williams, Ethan Hawke, Robert Sean Leonard, Josh Charles, Gale Hansen, among other.
Keating is a teacher who teaches the disciplinen of "Carpe Diem". Encourages its students to study poety but the freedom of those it causes the expulsion. The students live great experience, until one student killed himself because his parents wanted to do they imposed.
In my opinion, this film is great because is well directed and the story is good.
I recommend this film for everybody.

SLEEPY HOLLOW

Sleepy Hollow is a terror and police film directed by Tim Burton.
The starring actors: Johnny Deep, Christina Ricci, Michael Gambon, Miranda Richardson, Christopher Walken, Jeffrey Jones and Lisa Marie.
Ichabod Crane is a agent sent to Sleepy Hollow where there are many murders. Crane has many tools but investigating a supernatural event: a headless horseman. Discovers that the horseman killed because in his grave his head was missing. Crane retuns the head and solves the case.
In my opinion, this fiml is about suspense and fantasy.
I recommend this film for everybody.

SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET

Sweeney Tood is a musical and suspense film directed by Tim Burton. It is based on the musical of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler.
The starring actors: Johnny Deep, Helena Bonham, Alan Rickman, Jayne Wisener, Timothy Spall, Sacha Baron, Jamie Campbell, Laura Michelle Kelley and Ed Sanders.
Benjamin Barker returns to the city of London with the new name of Sweeney Tood. Arrives with Anthony Hope who later falls for her daughter. Sweeney was banished because the judge Turpin had been in love with his wife. For revange, Sweeney killed people when they went to her barber's. With the bodies Nellie Lovett makes food. Sweeney finds out the truth but has already murdered his wife and has avenged; is killed by Tobias Ragg, a child who learned what to do.
In my opinion, this is a beautiful film and a bit sadist.
I don't recommend this film for everybody.

UNDERWORLD

Underworld is a action and horror film written by Danny McBride, Kevin Grevioux and Len Wiseman, also directed.

The starring actors: Kate Beckinsale, Scott Speedman, MIchael Sheen, Shane Brolly, Bill Nighy, among other.

The movie is about a war between vampires and lycans. It is a war that began long ago, to survive in the world. Michael Corvin is a hybrid  between vampire and lyncan, and the two communities fought for it.

The end of the film is unfinished, to know needless to continue the series.

I like this film, because it has all the elements: action, vampires and lycans.

I recommend this film for those who like this type of movies. It should be noted is sadist.

FROM DUSK TILL DAWN

From dust till dawn is a horror film directed by Robert Rodirgez.

The starring actors: Harvey Keitel, George Clooney, Quentin Tarantino, Juliette Lewis and Salma Hayek.

Seth and Richard Gecko are two brothers who flew to Mexico, because they robbed a bank and killed several agents. Road to Mexico, they kidnaped the Fullen family. The Gecko brothers were heading to Titty Twister, where they have to find Carlos, to make busniess. When they arrive there, they were attacked by vampires. Seth and Kate Fullen survived who got separated after meeting Carlos.

In my opinion, this film is entertaining and a bit sadist.

 I recommend From dusk till dawn for everybody.

EDWARD SCISSORHANDS

The Edward Scissorhands is romantic fantasy  filmdirected by Tim Burton and written by Johnny Deep.

The starring actors: Johnny Deep, Winona Ryder, Dianne Wiest, Anthony Michael Hall, Kathy Baker, Vincent Price and Alan Arkin.

A woman tells her granddaughter why snow: Peg houses sold and just a guy. this boy is different, he doesn't have hands: he has scissors. Ped it takes. Her life has changed. Edward falls for Kim, the daughter of Peg, but Kim has a boyfriend. Her boyfriend, Jim, fights with Edward, that kills for him Kim. To save Edward, Kim explains they kill each other.

The woman who tells this story is Kim, that explains snowing because Edward is alive and cut statues in the ice.

This film is really nice.

I recommend it for everybody.

THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS

The silence of the lambs is a crime and horror film directed by Jonathan Demme. It is based on the novel of the same name written by Thomas Harris.

The starring actors: Jodie Foster, Anthony Hopkins, Ted Levine and Scott Glenn.

Clarice Starling ia an FBI agent that is following the case of a murder. She asks for help to Hannibal Lecter, who is imprisioned in Baltimore. He helps, Clarice, making a psychological game. Clarice menages to capture the murderer and Hannibal scaped to Bahames, which follows his enemy.

This film won a lot awards: five Academy Awards, Silver Bear, BAFTA Awards, among other.
In my opinion, this film is excellent for the role they do the actors.

I don't recommend this film for everybody, because there are violent scenes.

INCEPTION

Inception is a science fiction film written and directed by Christopher Nolan.

The starring actors are: Leonardo DiCaprio, Ken Watanable, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy, among other.
Dom Cobb can enter inside people's dreams and make it look real.
An employer hires him to enter into the mind of another, to fall in the failure. Cobb is looking for a team and when he gets it, they make a plan: the plan is to enter in different layers of mind. Finally they get what they wanted, but Cobb remains in limbo.
This film is impresive because you have good soundstrack, special effects, good story and the best actors.
I do not recommend this film for everybody, because is complicated to undrestand, the story plays with so many layers of the actors mind.

GLADIATOR

Gladiator is historical film directed by Ridley Scott, starring Russell Crowe, Joaquin Phoenix, Connie Nielsen, Oliver Reed, among other.
General Decimus Maximus is a very good fighter and has won many wars. Marco Aurelio dies and Comodo, that is his son, doesn't want Maximus is emperor: as a slave.
Maximus is chosen to fight and Comodo Challenges him in Coliseo. Before combat, Maximus is hurt. Wins the combat but the wound kills him.
I recommend this film for everybody.
This film won multiple awards: five Academy Awards, four BAFTA Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, among other.
In my opinion, is spectacular and marked film story.
